LIC: Premium of policy can be paid sitting at home, online registration not required

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) also provides online options to its policy holders for taking online LIC policy, online premium payment, finding policy status, checking bonus status, revival including loan status. To get e-service in LIC, one has to register, but some work can be done. These include payment of LIC policy premium. Today we are telling you how to pay the policy premium online.

This is the process :

• First of all you go to LIC website licindia.in.
• Click on the ‘Pay Premium Online’ tab under the online services menu here.Here you will get the option of ‘Pay Direct’.
• Here you can pay premium without login. As you click on this option a new window will open.
• This will give you the option to choose your preferred browser.
• Now click on the browser you want to use. After that select the option ‘Renewal Premium’ from the drop-down menu.Now another window will open.
• In this, the details like policy number, date of birth, mobile number, premium installment, email ID and captcha given on the screen will have to be filled.
• Accept the terms and conditions and then submit your premium.
• The payment page will open as soon as you accept the terms and conditions.
• Here you can pay the premium for your LIC policy through net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI.
