Delhi assembly election 2020: Will wait for ‘exact polls’, says Prakash Javadekar as exit polls predict Arvind Kejriwal’s third term in Delhi

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party leaders attended the party meeting on Saturday after voting in the Delhi elections. After this meeting led by Union Minister Amit Shah, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar denied the claims of victory of the Aam Aadmi Party, saying that exit polls could be wrong. Therefore, the BJP will wait for the exit polls. He asserted, “The BJP will win the Delhi elections and there will be a big difference between exit polls and final results.” The exit polls were also proved wrong in the Lok Sabha elections. ”

Javadekar further said, “We have seen the ground truth and it seems to get good response. We will come to power on 11 February. Delhi BJP President Manoj Tiwari has also spoken of exit polls being wrong. ”BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi, on the other hand, told reporters that the party’s voters left Delhi to vote much later. He said that the mathematics of exit polls is not good, its figures are only from 4 to 5 o’clock. Exit polls have been proved wrong before. ”Lekhi clarified that exit polls were also discussed among the leaders in the meeting.

Earlier, Javadekar had said that the people of Delhi want change. They want development in Delhi as in the country. So they will definitely get BJP more than 45 seats out of 70.

AAP’s hat-trick estimate in Delhi, BJP likely to get maximum 26 seats

In the exit polls, Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party projected a clear majority. If the guesses prove to be correct, then this time Kejriwal, who replaced the guarantee card, will put a hat-trick of victory. Earlier, he formed the AAP government in Delhi in 2013 and 2015.

BJP is again at number two in exit poll estimates, it is projected to get a maximum of 26 seats and Congress a maximum of 2 seats. In the last assembly election too, AAP won 67 out of 70 seats and BJP had only 3 seats. Whereas, in these elections 6 exit polls had projected BJP to get 24 seats and AAP 45 seats. All exit polls failed. The AAP got more seats than anticipated.
