Railways: India’s third private train will run between Indore and Varanasi, may start on Mahashivratri

IRCTC’s third private train will run between Indore to Varanasi. Railway Board Chairman Vinod Kumar Yadav said that at present the preparation of the railway is to start the train from Varanasi and on February 21 on Mahashivratri, the train will come to Indore via Ujjain. It will be the first such train operated by IRCTC not to have a chair car but a sleeper coach. IRCTC is operating the private train Tejas Express on Delhi-Lucknow and Ahmedabad-Mumbai.

Train will run three days a week: Railway officials said that this train will run three days in a week. Will run for two days via Lucknow and one day via Allahabad. The time table of this train connecting the two Jyotirlingas has not been decided at present but it is likely to be fixed soon. According to railway experts this train can run via Lucknow, Kanpur, Jhansi, Bhopal. The train running between Indore and Varanasi will have sleeper coaches instead of seating.

Private train also announcedbetween Indore-Delhi, Indore-Patna

Railways has also announced to run private train between Indore-Okhla (Delhi) and Indore-Danapur (Patna). Okhla trains will be regular, while Danapur will be weekly. It has been decided to run 150 trains across the country in two years. This is also two of those trains. After starting this train for Delhi, it will be the eighth while Patna will be the fourth train.

Facilities in private train

  • The train will have Wi-Fi facility.
  • Every coach will have TV, attendants.
  • In the pantrycar, the menu will be prepared according to the choice of the passengers. Many dishes will be found.
  • If the train is late for one hour, then the passenger will get Rs 100, for more than two hours, the compensation will be Rs 250.
