Coronavirus: Air India aircraft carrying 324 Indians from Wuhan reached Delhi, will be taken to Manesar camp

Beijing / New Delhi: Air India double-decker Jumbo 747 aircraft reached Delhi on Saturday morning carrying Indians stranded in Wuhan, China amid fears of coronavirus. Boeing flew in late Friday night. All Indian students will be screened at the airport by a joint team of Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) and Airport Health Authority. After this he will be taken to Manesar camp. If infected with coronavirus, the patient will be admitted to Base Hospital in Delhi Cantt.India’s effort to expel Indians has been appreciated.

On the other hand, the number of deaths from coronavirus in China has increased to 259 while 11,791 people are in the grip of this infection. China’s National Health Commission gave this information on Saturday. The Commission said, “By midnight of 31 January, the Health Commission has been reported to have found coronavirus infection in 11,791 people from 31 provinces, of which 1,795 are in critical condition. Coronavirus has been suspected in over 17,988 people. 2,100 new cases of coronavirus have been reported during the last 24 hours. ”

Arrangement of 50 beds for seriously ill patients in Safdarjung

Special Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Sanjeev Kumar said that all Indian students from China will reach India on Saturday. They will be kept at ITBP Center in Chawla, Delhi for 14 days as a precautionary measure. At the same time, a separate 50 beds have been arranged for seriously ill patients in Safdarjung Hospital. The army has also set up a camp in Manesar, Haryana for Indians returning from China, in which about 300 people can be accommodated. All people will be under the supervision of the team and staff of doctors.

WHO announced Global Emergency on Friday

The World Health Organization (WHO) announced the Global Emergency on Friday. However, travel to China and no trade of any kind was prohibited. According to WHO, 100 cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in 21 countries including India. These include China, Hong Kong, South Korea, the US, France, Germany, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, Macau, Vietnam, UAE, Russia and the UK.
