According to the news agency ANI, this information has been given by the hospital’s medical superintendent doctor Meenakshi Bhardwaj. Significantly, surveillance is being carried out at many airports in the country including Mumbai to protect against the corona virus. While a girl returned from China has been admitted to ICU in Chapra, Bihar.
Vimal Karkar, a superintendent of Patna Medical College from the news agency ANI, told that he was admitted to Chapra only after seeing some symptoms and now he is being brought to Patna. He told that when that girl comes to Patna Medical College, then she will be sent to Pune for her blood test. He assured that complete preparations have been made to deal with this virus.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Health has said that corona virus has been confirmed in Nepal. In view of this, monitoring has been tightened on the Nepal border in West Bengal. On the other hand, it has been said by the Airport Health Society that not a single case of corona virus has been found at the Bengaluru airport so far. So far, 392 passengers arriving from China have been tested.
At the same time, more than 100 people in Kerala and Maharashtra have been kept under medical supervision in view of the possibility of corona virus. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on Saturday reviewed India’s preparedness to deal with it amidst global concern over the growing cases of deadly corona virus in China.
Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said that no verified cases of the disease have been reported so far but samples of seven people who have returned from China have been sent to the ICMR-NIV laboratory in Pune. Earlier, this virus was also not found in samples of four other passengers tested.
