Radio Programme: Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address Mann Ki Baat at 6 pm on 71st Republic Day
- PM Modi will address the 61st edition ‘Mann Ki Baat’, on Sunday at 6 pm
- The first address of PM Modi’s monthly programme in 2020 will be done on the Republic Day
- This timing of the programme has been changed for today to avoid a clash with the Republic Day function
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address ‘Mann Ki Baat’ for the 61st time on Sunday at 6 pm. Through this program every month they address people on different issues. For the first time this program is going to air on Republic Day. It is also the first episode of Mann Ki Baat in the new year (2020). Its timing has also been changed from 11 am to 6 pm due to Republic day function on the Rajpath.
On December 29, 2019, Modi appealed to people in the Mann Ki Baat program to try to raise the standard of living of the poor and to buy indigenous goods to help local artisans. In his address, he had also discussed about the satellite Aditya being sent by India’s Space Research Organization (ISRO) to study the Sun. Modi also praised the women of Phoolpur for their efforts for self-reliance.
