Issuing advisory on Friday, DMRC said that on Republic Day (26 January), the Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhavan metro will be restricted to entry and exit of passengers till 12 noon. At the same time, Lok Kalyan Marg and Patel Chowk metro station will be closed from 8.45 am to 12 noon. However, in the meantime, the facility of changing the metro of passengers on the Central Secretariat will continue.
Traffic movement will be banned on Rafi Marg, Janpath and Mansingh Road
There will also be a ban on traffic. In view of security, road traffic on Rajpath is also closed for a while. The Delhi Police Advisory said that traffic movement on Rafi Marg, Janpath and Mansingh Road will be banned from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon due to the parade. 48 company central forces, 22 thousand police personnel to be deployed in security
