DAVOS: Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella says that countries that do not support immigrants are putting the global tech industry’s growth at risk. Nadella, who arrived at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, discussed this in an interview to Bloomberg Media on Tuesday. He said that all countries are rethinking their interests, that is fine, but there should not be too much narrow thinking about this.Immigrants to a country will go only when the environment there is favorable. Nadella did not name any country during this discussion. However, a few days ago he regretted the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in India.
Nadella said – If someday Bangladeshi becomes CEO of Infosys, I will be happy
Nadella said on CAA last week that what is happening in India hurts. I would be happy if a Bangladeshi comes to India and starts a big company or becomes the CEO of a company like Infosys. However, Nadella also said- I am optimistic about India. There is a 70-year history of nation building. I think this is a strong foundation. I grew up in India. I am proud of the heritage there. I am impressed by the experience there.
Microsoft will help tech companies to reduce carbon levels
Microsoft had informed about the plan to invest $ 1 billion (Rs 7,000 crore) for tech companies in the last days.
