Latest / Tata launches facelift models of Tiago, Tigor and Nexon; Starting price Rs. 4.60 lakhs
Tata Motors today (22, January) launched its premium hatchback Ultraz in the Indian market. Also, the company also launched facelift versions of Tiago, Tigor and Nexon. These vehicles have been launched with BS6 engine. Also, some changes have been made in their features and style. Tata Tiago’s starting ex-showroom price is 4.60 lakhs and Tata Tigor’s initial ex-showroom price is Rs. 5.75 lakhs.
The new models have Impact 2.0 design. The Tata Nexon BS6 is designed like the Nexon EV. At the same time, the front of the Tiago and Tigor is similar to the Altrose. They have a similar looking slim grille and a raised line. Their front and rear bumpers have been revised. At the same time, the fog lamps are much larger than before. They will also get new daytime running lamps.
On the other hand, Nexon also has a new upright grille, which is in the middle chunky black bar look. Its bumpers and skid plate have also been rearranged. At the same time, a C-shaped chrome element has been installed in the fog lamp. It will get 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and headlamps. Also, new LED daytime running lights have been given.
Talking about the interior, some features are almost given in all three cars. Like, all these have a new steering wheel and digital instrument cluster. Tata Tiago and Tigor will get a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. At the same time, Nexon will get a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system as before. All cars have Harmon’s sound system, which comes with Apple Car Play and Android Auto Support.
Tata Nexon has a 1.2-liter turbocharged BS6 petrol engine, which generates 108 bhp power and 113 Nm peak torque. On the other hand, its diesel variant has a 1.5-liter engine, which generates power of 108 bhp and peak torque of 260 Nm. At the same time, Tata Tiago and Tata Tigor have 1.2-liter BS6 petrol engines. Which generates power of 84 bhp and peak torque of 113 Nm. All models also come with manual and automatic transmission.
