WhatsApp becomes Android, non-Google app installed more than five billion times

New Delhi: WhatsApp has been installed on Android mobiles more than five billion times all over the world. This is the second app to do so, which is a non-Google app, meaning that it is not owned by Google. So far, there are only a few such apps which have crossed this figure.

Most of the apps that have crossed the 5 to 5 billion install times are Google’s own apps. Facebook touched this figure only last year and now Facebook-owned WhatsApp has also joined it.

Please tell that most of the apps that have reached this figure have not been downloaded, rather these apps are already installed in Android. Samsung recently launched Google’s apps in its S6 smartphone and launched it in the market. At the same time, Huawei has also taken this step. According to media reports, WhatsApp has become the first means of communication for the people of the world.
